I'm Todd Johnson, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and I welcome you to Prairie View Counseling LLC. I hold a degree in Religious Education from Missouri Baptist University, a foundation that has enriched my understanding of human values and the spiritual dimension of life. Further, I earned a Master of Arts in Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe Kansas, equipping me with the expertise to help individuals and families navigate life's challenges.

My story in Kansas began when I moved to Olathe after completing my college education, working as a youth pastor. I have developed a deep connection with this community, and while I cherish my hometown of St. Louis and my roots in Olathe, I am eager to serve clients from across Johnson County and the vibrant Kansas City area.

I have a genuine passion for helping individuals and families in various areas of therapy, including family therapy, couples counseling, individual counseling, parenting support, working with teens, ADHD, and anxiety. My commitment is to guide you toward healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Beyond my professional life, I'm on a perpetual quest to discover the best BBQ spots in Kansas City all the while perfecting the BBQ I make for family and friends, and I'm intrigued by the world of whiskey. A film enthusiast, I'm always up for discussions about the latest release. As a devoted fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas State Wildcats, I'm also ready to engage in sports-related conversations.

Outside of the therapy room, I'm actively involved in supporting a charity that raises funds to provide clean water to communities in need in the third world. Giving back to the global community is a vital aspect of my life's mission.
